Well, I have been busy lately. I'm working on a new book called "The Truck" and Other Twisted Tales. It will be out soon on Amazon.com. Meanwhile I have decided to publish some of the short stories from the book as Kindle books. The first one is already out and is titled "The Little Girl". Take a look. OK, So I'm not much of a blogger. But I have been very busy. I have so much stuff out there on the net, it is hard to keep up with here. There are two things, though, that I feel compelled to share though. My two new books :D

Did he say BOOKS! I sure did. I have one titled One Day in Belfast which is a photo journal on a daytrip that I took in Belfast earlier on this year. The other one is a screenplay I wrote a couple of years back called Deadly Justice. Deadly Justice is the story of Hank Spade, an extra-governmental employee who does justice where conventional justice has failed.

Both books are now available on Amazon.com. At any rate, I thought I would just go ahead and list them here. I also have a book of short stories coming out soon so you might want to keep and eye out for that one too.

Picture Sale

I was just informed that I made a picture sale at Dreamstime. Not exactly raking-in-the-dough yet but it's a start. I finally have an address to give to people so they can see what pictures I have there it's www.Dreamstime.com/ronvid_info .

Before you ask me about the pictures, keep in mind that it is a stock picture site. So if you see a picture of wood, just accept it ... yes, it's wood. They like it and that's all that matters. I would put all of my travel pictures there but they are not going to pass the strict QA of Dreamstime (trust me I tried already).

Dreamstime only accepts high quality photos and will reject any pictures taken with a less-than-quality camera. All of my previous pictures, which were fine for my travel articles, are not up to snuff because the camera I used was not good enough. I found a stock picture site that actually listed the camera as unacceptable for submissions.

Fortunately my new camera is just awesome and I should not have any problems in the future with my travel photos. Look for new pictures of Canada soon. I will let you know.

OK, so what's up? Well, I have been investing a lot of time on my photography. Lately I have had 5 pictures accepted on a low end site and 8 on a high end stock photo site (and I'm really happy about that).

I have a lot of other pictures in review on the low end site but they should get in easily enough. I usually give them the pictures that were rejected from the high end sites but I have uploaded some really good pictures (so I don't feel bad about it).

Anyway, I now have two more websites, one is a personal site so I can post all of my articles in one place (last count 39 articles and 3 unaccounted for).

I have decided now to end my writing work day by writing here. I seem to have neglected my blog and it seems to be an important thing to have ... so, I'll try.

So busy

Wow, I cant believe all the things I have to do. I can hardly keep up, even with myself. I'm trying to keep this page updated with my published articles but I've been very busy writing that I'm behind.

The things you have to do now-a-days to survive as a writer on the net. Write, publish, promote, visit social sites, visit friends, keep up posting sites, blogs, join web social clubs ... its enough to drive someone crazy. Well, I'm trying.

Well, off to more promotion and socializing. I guess I'm getting better ... the spell checker didn't even find anything on this post.

Feeling better!

Hey all. Well, I'm back and in relatively good health. I just have a little cough. So, now what?

Well, so far today I have been rather busy. I wrote and published two articles; one on getting those hit songs out of your head and down on paper http://www.ehow.com/how_5724946_hit-out-head-down-paper.html ; the other is how to make a portable miso soup http://www.ehow.com/how_5725049_macrobiotic-_how-miso-soup-go.html . OK, far from award winning but hopefully will help pay the bills.

I also filled out an application to write for another online publication so I remain hopeful about that. I guess it's about "the-more-the-merrier" at this point. Sort of the shotgun approach to writing.

I still have some more things to do today so I will have to cut this short. I have to get a few photos taken and uploaded so my articles are more exciting. I also have an article to fininsh but I will probably do that tomorrow. I will keep you posted.

Still Sick

Well, as you can see, I have not written lately. The reason being is that I am still trying to shake off this cold I've had for a while. It's not that being sick keeps me from writing exactly but it does keep me from doing things interesting enough to write about.

So that's the reason. Not really a good excuse but it's my excuse. I am feeling somewhat better so maybe I will have something more interesting soon.
